A RUSSIAN DEVELOPMENT CAPTAIN EDEN HONOURED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 16. The Moscow correspondent of 4 The Times’ says: “A new underground railway, embodying the latent improvements, including moving staircases, was opened in the presence of a number of London underground chiefs. It has been named Kagauovitch Subway, in honour of the director of construction. The occasion marked the first broadcast by M. Stalin, who thanked the workers for completing the railway in record time. One of the stations will be called Eden in commemoration of Captain Eden’s recent visit.”
