RESTORATION OF SALARY CUTS [Per United Press Association.; WELLINGTON, May 17. The Education Institute elected Mr G. F. Griffiths (Invercargill) president unopposed. The vice-president is Mr A. B. Fordyce (Auckland) arid the treasurer Mr C. Robertson (Wellington). The non-official members of the executive of the Wellington district are Misses Magill, Park, Messrs Finlayson, Graham, and Kane; and the Executive Committee is Messrs W. F. Abel (Otago). C. W. Boswell (North Auckland), R. M'Glashen (Hawke’s Bay), D. C. Pryor (Manawatuh Miss K. B. Turner (North Canterbury). A remit was carried that the institute co-operate fully with all other branches of the public service in their efforts towards the complete restoration of salary cute.
