MOVEMENTS ON THE COAST. Holmdaie is due from Wellington, tomorrow morning, and is to sail the same day for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Pictou, and Wanganui. Breeze is due from Wellington on Monday, ad is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, .Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Wingatui is to sail to-morrow morning for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Omana is to leave Wellington for Dunedin to-morrow. She is due on Tuesdav, and is to sail the same day for Bluff, Westport, and Greymouth. Orepuki is due from Bluff on May 22, and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. - Parera is due from Port Waikato ana Wellington on May l 22, and she is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Maori reached Lyttelton from - Wellington at 6.45 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mails for the south connected with the express. WAITAKI LEAVES MELBOURNE. The Union Company advises that the Waitaki left Melbourne at 7 p.m, on Wednesday with general cargo for discharge at Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The freight includes transhipments ex the Ormonde, Mongolia, Remo, Largs Bay, Talleyrand, Nieuw Zeeland, Changte. Cormonn and Ascanius. The Waitaki is duo at Dunedin on Tuesday. WAIF AW A ON MONDAY. The motor ship Waipawa, from London, reached Suva on Sunday .after a smart run of 30 days. She left the island port on Wednesday for Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Timaru to complete discharge of her London cargo. She is due hero on Monday, RANGITATA IN ROUGH WEATHER. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that a radio message has been received from the master of the Rangitata stating that weather conditions have been unfavourable, but are improving. All are well on board.; NARBADA TO-MORROW. The Union Company announces that the Narbada was scheduled to leave Lyttelton for Dunedin this afternoon. She is due to-morrow morning, and is to sail on Tuesday for Newcastle, Java, Belaivan, and Calcutta. WAITAKI ON TUESDAY. Tli e Union Company reports that the Waitaki is duo from Melbourne via Bluff on Tuesday. She is to sail the same day for Lyttelton, Wellington, Bluff, a lid Melbourne. WAIPAWA ON MONDAY. Tho local agents for the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company have received a radio message from the master of the Waipawa, en route from London to Port Chalmers, stating that the vessel is expected at Port Chalmers early on Monday morning. PORT DARWIN’S LOADING. The Port Darwin, which arrived at Port Chalmers from Port Kembla yesterday, was scheduled to sail this afternoon for Lyttelton to continue Homeward loading. She will subsequently proceed Wanganui roadstead, Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. From the lastnamed port she will sail on June 5 for New York. Southampton, and London via Panama. PAKEHA LEAVES LIVERPOOL. The Pakeha left Liverpool on May 11 for Auckland,- Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on June 19. lONIC REPORTS. The Tonic,' which left Lyttelton on May 10 for Southampton and London via Panama and Kingston, has reported by radio that she has been experiencing strong south-easterly winds since leaving, and that all on board are well.

SOMERSET HOMEWARD BOUND. Reported to have cleared Balboa on May 9, the Federal Line steamer Somerset is en route from Wellington to London. She was despatched from Wellington on April-18. CUMBERLAND AT LONDON. The Federal Line steamer Cumberland is reported to have reached London from New Zealand on May 10. She was despatched from Port Chalmers on March 31. PERSONAL. Mr H. M. Hughes has been engaged as third mate of the Maori, relieving Mr I). A. Champion. Mr R. Tulloch has been engaged as first mate of the Totara. Mr N. M'Caig has rejoined tho Monowai as chief engineer in place of Mr N. J. M'Murrich, who has gone on holiday leave. Mr G.'Bell, fourth engineer of the Maunganni, is ashore on sick leave. _ Mr J. C. Willis has joined the Waipiata as third engineer, relieving Mr D. L. Cullen for holidays; Captain G. A. Nairn has been engaged as master of the Pakura, relieving Mr C. W. Coldicutt. j Mr P. J. Ward has joined the Maori as chief engineer, relieving,Mr W. N. Aimers for holidays. PHOSPHATE CARGOES. The steamer Welcombe has been fixed to load at Ocean Island early in June for Australia or New Zealand. The motor ship Larchbank will also load at Ocean Island about the middle of June for Australia and New Zealand. Tho Bank Line vessel Tynebank left Ocean Island on Saturday with 8,000 tons of phosphates for discharge at Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Lyttelton about May 23. . CORNWALLIS DELAYED. The Canadian National Steamships have received a wireless message from the Cornwallis, ex-Canadian Transporter, en route from Halifax to Wellington, reporting that she has been delayed by heavy weather and now expects to arrive at the northern port this morning. , NAPIER STAR RADIOS. The Napier Star has reported that she expects to reach Bluff at daybreak on May 27. IN RADIO RANGE.
