THE ‘SPORTS SPECIAL’
In both codes of football to-mor-row the chief games match teams in strong favour, and having potentialities in the premiership issue. These matches will provide a substantial core for the day’s sporting news in to-morrow night’s ‘Sports Special’; and, buttressed by four major race meetings— Southland, Marlborough, Ashburton, and Wanganui—and the hookey, basketball, harrier, cycling, and golf fixtures, the issue, one of eight pages, with profuse illustrations, should hold exceptional interest. The ‘ Sports Special ’ will be sold on the streets from 7 p.m, on» wards.
