The occasion drew a full house on Saturday night. The carnival queen was Paula Whitehead. Outstanding features of tho pretty scene were the attractive costumes worn by the children, and the very efficient manner in which they acted their respective roles. Every boy and girl played his or her part to perfection, and they were received with hearty applause. The success of the ceremony was in a large measure duo to the tuition of Mr J. Caldwell, together with the fact that he had very willing and clever aiupils. Tho entry of the queen and her princesses and retinue into the court was the culminating feature of a carnival that was marked by success from its inception. The committee intended to have the school gymnasium completely lined to make the building suitable for holding social functions during the winter. A Social Committee had, been formed to work in conjunction with the School committee to this. end.
