ONE NEW MEMBER ELECTED For the*Otago Hospital Board the only new member elected was Mr M. Silverstone. Mr F. Jones, who was second on the list two years ago,just behind Dr W. Newlands, reversed the position on this occasion. Five members of the citizens’ “ ticket ” obtained seats, all of them being members of the board at the present time. Of the sitting members, Mr Alexander Steel was defeated, and an ex-mem-ber in Mr J. W. Scurr was also among the defeated candidates.
