Victoria's new Ministry, consisting entirely of Country Party members, has been announced as follows: — Premier and Treasurer, Mr A. A. Dunstan. . Chief Secretary and Minister of Labour, Mr N. W. Bourchier. Minister of Transport, AttorneyGeneral and Solicitor-General, Mr A. L. Bassau. Minister of Agriculture and Mines, Mr E. J. Hogan. Minister of Water Supply and Electrical Undertakings, Mr F. E. Old. Minister of Lands and Forests, Mr A. E. Lind. Minister of Education and Health, Dr J. R. Harris. Minister of Public Works and Immigration, Mr G. L. Goudie. Honorary Ministers. —Messrs H. Bailey, E. Mackrell, G. Tuckctt, and H. Pye. Mr Dunstan was given a free hand by his party to select his team, which includes Mr Hogan, who was a former Labour Premier of Victoria. He was excluded from the Labour Party in 1932 owing to his endorsement of the “ Premiers’ Plan,” aiming at the rehabilitation of the Australian finances.
