MR COATES FOR HOME

SAILS APRIL 13 OR 16 [Prom Our Parliamentary Reporter.] "M B -1 WELLINGTON, April 2. It was announced officially to-day that Mr Coates would leave for London this month to take part in the negotiations with the British Government on the meat levy issue. Mr Coates stated that he was not yet in a position to give the actual date of his departure, beyond indicating that he would leave either by the Rangitane on April 13 or the Makura on April 16. If the latter connection were taken it would involve his travelling across America by air. In either event he would arrive in London about May 16, which would be in ample time to permit of his taking part in the formal discussions on the meat problem.
