BEACHES IN GOOD OfIKR Despite the dull weather the tempera*,) ture of the surf is quite mild, and for; the benefit of bathers it is advised that! the various beaches are in good condi-' tion. ' There will be an afternoon ebb 1 tide during the week-end. St. Clair Beach is better than it has been for some time. There is a heavy ( sea running, but a fair-surf, which i» quite safe. St: Hilda Beach is also in good order, but there is a fairly strong backwash.which will require the’ exercising or special care. Tomahawk Beach is firm, and ideal for bathing.
