' Judgment, with costs, was given for plaintiffs ,in the following undefended cases:—J.-and J. Arthur Ltd. v. T. S. Harris (Christchurch), £7 19s, for goods supplied; Henry H. Crichton v. James Rae Kydd (Tomahawk), £1 10s, balance due on account for goods; Alexander Mackay v. John Wilson, £1 8s 2d. for goods supplied; John Chambers and Son Ltd. v. R. R, Thomson (Timaru), £l4 17s 7d, for goods supplied; John William Preen (Timaru) v. Leslie J, Hudson, £lO 12s 6d, for work done. ORDER FOR POSSESSION. Robert Nichol, as trustee of the estate of the late May M’Bride, proceeded against Howard Bell Muir for possession of a house at 34 High street, Musselburgh, occupied by the defendant* and in respect to winch formal notice to quit was given on August 25 last.— Mr B. Pinfold appeared for the plaintiff. —After hearing defendant the magistrate made an order for possession in a fortnight’s time. JUDGMENT SUMMONS.

Eardley Bell (Invercargill) proceeded against R. Keogh on a judgment summons for the recovery of £3 17s 7d.— There was no appearance of the defendant, and an order was made for payment of the amount due forthwith, with costs 6s, in default four days’ imprisonment. The D.I.C. Ltd. proceeded on a judgment summons against J. Watkins for £1 8s lOd, balance of an account owing. —Defendant did not appear, and an order was made for payment of tho amount due forthwith, with costs 9s, in default two days’ imprisonment.
