Little Mary had been with her mother to see an aunt who was very much the opposite of slim. The following day the aunt was surprised to hear a knock at the door and to find her small niece standing there with a school friend. “ Well, Mary,” said the surprised aunt. “ Did you mother forget something?” “ Oh. no,” responded the child, ‘‘only T had to bring Margery along to make her believe how fat you were.”
