HANDIER ATTRACTIONS

ANOTHER BATH DESIRED [Peu United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, January 22. An assurance that he would do his best to arrange for a survey of the mineral water supply in the Hanmer Springs district was given to-day by the Prime Minister (Mr Forbes) to a deputation which met him at Hanmer. The deputation, which consisted largely of Christchurch residents, asked for an improvement in the attractions of Hanmer for visitors, and especially in the bathing facilities, notably a bath for mixed bathing. Mr Forbes said if there was enough water for a larger bath there was no doubt about the advisability _of the work. He assured the deputation that the Government would not lose any time in starting an investigation.
