THE CITIZENSHIP Bill Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright DUBLIN, January 17. (Received January 18, at 2.15 p.m.) The Citizenship Bill was introduced in the Senate. Mr De Valera said; “It is important. It clearly defines who are Free State citizens owing to the possibility of foreign treaties relating Jo their rights.” A member of the Opposition (Mr Browne, K.C.) declared that the Free State was powerless to abolish the status of British subjects inside or outside the Free State. The Bill Was read a second time.
