Opihi sailed on Saturday afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Nelson, and New , AVaitaki arrived from Bluff on Saturday, and was to sail this afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Wainui arrived from Wellington yesterday, and was to sail this afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Napier, and Gisborne.

Canopus arrived at Port Chalmers from Timaru yesterday morning;. '■ * Kaimai left Westport on Friday for New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Oamaru, Port Chalmers, and Dunedin. She is due on Friday. Gale is scheduled to sail to-night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Patera is due- from Bluff to-morrow, and is to sail the same day for Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato via ports. Holradale is due from Wellington on Thursday, and is to sail the same day for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui via ports. Totara is to load at Dunedin on Wednesday for Wellington, Nelson,, and New Plymouth. Storm is due on Thursday to load for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. Waimanno is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due on December 30.

Maunganui is. to leave San Francisco on December 19 for Wellington and Sydney, via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on January 7 and Sydney on January 12. Aorangi is to leave Vancouver on January 2 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu and Suva. She is due at Auckland on January 21 and at Sydney on January 26. She is due at San Francisco on January 11. Niagara is to leave Sydney |on January 3 and Auckland on January 8 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. Mariposa is to leave Sydney on January 9 and Auckland on January 12 for San Francisco via Suva, Pago Pago, and Honolulu. She is due at San Francisco on January 28. TANKER HIDLEFJORD COMING. The Shell Company advises that the Norwegian motor tanker Hidlefjord, 7,639 tons, loft Balikpapan bn December 8 for Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due at Wellington on December 26. The Hidlefjord was built in 1928.

TANKER TOORAK. From Palerabang the tanker bringing a cargo of motor spirit for the Vacuum Oil Company, arrived at Auckland on .Saturday. She should reach Wellington to-morrow, and will sail the following day for Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. ORIENT LINER’S NEW COLOURS. The Orama, which reached Sydney recently, is the first of the Orient Line’s fleet to adopt the new colour scheme, the hull being painted cream instead of black, and the band above the water line green instead of fed. If the experiment is successful other Orient liners will follow suit. KALINGO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Kalingo will load, at Adelaide and Melbourne this week for Wellington and Dunedin. QUEEN ELEANOR WITH ASPHALT. The steamer Queen Eleanor arrived at Dunedin on Saturday from Tampico via Panama and northern ports. She was berthed at the Rattray street wharf to discharge a part cargo of asphalt. REMUERA LEAVES, LONDON. Tlie Remuera.left London last Thursday afternoon for Wellington and Auckland via Panama. She is due at. AVellington on., January 19. AKAROA LEAVES BALBOA. The Akaroa, en route from London to New Zealand ports, sailed from Balboa on the evening of December-11. She is duo at Auckland on December 30. OPAWA CLEARS PANAMA. The Opawa, which left Liverpool on November 26, cleared Panama on December 11. She is due at. Auckland on December 28 and Wellington on January 4. Later she will proceed to Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth. CANADIAN BRITISHER LATER. The Canadian Britisher is not now expected to arrive at Auckland until January 16. She will complete loading for : North American ports at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. WAIKOUAITI TO : MORROW. The Union Company advises that the Waikouaiti is due to-morrow afternoon from Newcastle, Sydney, and ■Melbourne via Bluff.
