Method: Place in a saucepan the grated rind and juice of one lemon, cornflour, sugar, and beaten egg y9lks, mix well, and then stir in the boiling water. Cook for two or three minutes. Pour into a cooked pastry shell. Whip the egg whites very stiff, add two desert spoonfuls of sugar, pile on top and cook in a cool oven until meringue is set..
