MONEY FOR CHRISTMAS

(Received December 15,, at 10 a.m.) To meet the Christmas currency demands the Bank of England in the past week issued additional notes valued at £7,774,009, raising the total active note circulation to £393,221,328, which is-the highest in the bank’s history.
