A considerable amount of work has been done during the year to the Boys’ High School grounds, according to the rector’s (Mr H. P. Kidsonl report presented to the meeting of the Otago High Schools , Board of Governors yesterday afternoon. The report continues“ The bank on the south side of the green and the slope in front of the school have been cleaned up and planted with about 250 flowering trees and shrubs. The planting in front of the school has been done in. such a way that the fine entrance of the main building will be seen from London street and Arthur street. Some planting of English trees has been done along the boundary Of the Littlebourne ground, and useful work has been done in widening the playing area on the southern end of the same ground. The lack of playing fields at the school is serious, and I hope that all possibilities of remedying this will 'bo immediately explored.”-
