Breeze, m.s. (11 p.m.), 620 tons, Stewart, for New Plymouth via ports. COASTWISE MOVEMENTS. Waipiata sailed last night for Blnlf. She is to return on Saturday and sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Breeze sailed last night'for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, Nelson, and AVanganui. Holmglen is to sail to-night for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. Gale is due on Monday, moyaing from Wellington, ftiul.is.yd sail the oiuiie-day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. Opihi is to leave Wellington on Monday for Dunedin direct. She is due on Wednesday, and is to sail the same day for Wellington,' Nelson, and New Plymouth via Timaru and Lyttelton. Waimarino is to leave Auckland tomorrow for Wellington,. Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due on Wednesday, and is to sail the same day for the south.

DALCROSS TO SAIL. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Dalcross is to sail to-morrow for Australian ports. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Wahine reached Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.45 a.in.' to-day. Passengers and mail for the south connected with the express, THE CANADIAN VICTOR. The Canadian National steamer Canadian Victor is now expected to arrive at Dunedin from Montreal via Australian 'ports about December 5. She will load at Dunedin and Lyttelton for New York, Boston, and Halifax. TREHERBERT FROM SEYCHELLES. Advice lias been received that the steamer Treherbert is due at Auckland to-morrow from Seychelles Island. The vessel has a cargo of guano for discharge at Auckland and Wanganui. COMMANDER OF STRATHAIRD. Captain E. A. J. W. Carter, commander of the Strathaird, made his second visit to New Zealand last week. It was ns third officer on a steamer bringing tea from India’that Captain Carter spent six hours in Auckland in 1910. Thus he did not have much time to see New Zealand, ami, without examining his. papers, he is not able to recall the name of the vessel on which he came. The present voyage is Captain Carter’s first in command of Die Strathaird. Tall and alert, he looks surprisingly young to have command of such a large vessel. DALCROSS TO SAIL. The steamer Dalcross, which is discharging phosphates at the Birch street wharf, is to sail this afternoon for Port Kembla to replenish her bunkers. THE ABEL TASMAN. The intercolonial steamer Abel Tasman sailed last evening for Timaru to discharge the remainder of her cargo from Australia. She will afterwards load at Wanganui and Greymouth for Sydney. KAIMIRO FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company advise that the Kaimiro is expected to leave Melbourne on Saturday for New Plymouth, Auckland, Portland, Napier. Wellington, and Dunedin. She is bringing cargo from Edithburg and Adelaide, and is due about the end of the second week in December. MAHENO'S PASSENGERS. Carrying over 180 passengers and laden with approximately 500 tons of cargo, the greatest quantity she has yet taken from the port, the Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno sailed from Bluff for Melbourne via Hobart at 6.10 p.m. on Monday.

CARGO FROM CALCUTTA. The Union Company advises that its chartered steamer Narbada, which is to leave Calcutta on December 5 for Penang, Singapore, and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff, has her cargo space fully hooked. Additional cargo from Calcutta will bo brought by the British India steamer Querimba, which is to leave Calcutta on December 5 for Australia and Auckland.. Both the Narbada and Querimba are due at Auck land early in January. CHATHAM ISLANDS SERVICE. The Tees was expected to' leave the Chatham Islands ou Tuesday night for Lyttelton, and is due at Lyttelton tonight or to-morrow morning. The vessel will discharge sheep there, and is to proceed to Wellington to discharge fish. She is to sail from Wellington on Saturday evening for the islands, calling at Waitangi only. PERSONAL. Captain J. Bruce is in command of the Kiwitea, which recommissioned recently in Wellington. His deck officers are;—Chief, Mr T. A. MacPherson; second, Mr J. S. Beaton: third, Mr D. J. Rutter. Mr E. A. Cox has Joined the Wingatui as chief officer. ' x Mr J. C. Sadleir is now third officer of the Wingatui. Mr A. M. Lucas chief officer of the Karetu, is proceeding to Sydney for further orders. Mr J. N. Collins has joined the Poolta and Mr R. Watson the Kaimai, both in the capacity of third officer. Dr R. J. Maunsell has replaced Dr R. Boyd as surgeon on the Maheno. IN RADIO RANGE.
