HAS POPULAR APPEAL
‘ SERVANTS ' ENTRANCE ' PRAISES Ronald Bertram, the famous exilic, writing of ‘ Servants’ Entrance,’ which brings again to the screen, the sweethearts of ‘ State Fair,’ Janet Gaynor and Lew Ayres, says: “Of the twentyone pictures which Janet Gaynor has made ‘ Servants’ Entrance ’ will probably have more popular appeal than any. It is, for one thing, crammed full of comic situations, and Miss Gaynor and Lew Ayres reach the heights of amusement in this for funny comedy romance. One of the strongest oasts assembled for any picture is to be seen in this vehicle, including Catherine Doucet, Louise Dresser, Walter Connolly, and Ned Sparks. Frank Lloyd, winner of the Academy Award for his direction of ‘ Cavalcade,’ has put forward another masterpiece in ‘ Servants’ Entrance,’ and Janet Gaynor, as the rich young society girl who masquerades as a servant, proves that she is a splendid comedienne. I predict a terrific success for this production.” ‘ Servants’ Entrance ’ commences its screening at the State Theatre on Friday.
