COASTWISE MOVEMENTS.
Paua sailed yesterday for Bluff to complete discharging her cargo of case oil. Breeze arrived early this morning from Bluff, and is to sail this evening for Wellington, Picton, Wanganui, and New Plymouth via ports. Holmglen is due this afternoon from Wellington, and is to sail this evening for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato via ports. Waipiata arrived from Auckland via ports this morning, and is to sail for Bl.rjff this evening. She is due back on 'Saturday, and will sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Gale is to load on Saturday and sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. Holmdale is due from Wellington on Friday, and is to sail the same day for Wellington, Picton, Nelson, and Wanganui via ports. INTERTSLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Maori reached Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.45 a.m. to-day. Passengers and mail for the south connected with the express. DALCROSS TO SAIL. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Dalcross is expected l to sail on Thursday for Port Kembla. ABEL TASMAN’S DEPARTURE. The Abel Tasman was scheduled to sail this afternoon for Timaru to discharge the remainder of her Australian cargo. She will then proceed to Wanganui and Greyraouth to load for Sydney. THE QUEEN ELEANOR. The steamer Queen Eleanor is expected at Auckland from Tampico, Mexico, this week. The vessel has a cargo of asphalt for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. PERSONAL. • Mr W. S. Hall, chief engineer of the Karetu, and Mr G. R. Miller, fourth engineer of the same vessel, are now on holiday leave. Mr L, A. Calvert has joined the Waipiata as second engineer, relieving Mr H. S. Woodley for holidays. Mr J. G. Craig has joined the Kartigi as second engineer. WAIWERA’S LOADING. To complete] her homeward loading tlie Waiwera left Napier on Saturday for Auckland. She will clear Auckland to-morrow for London, via Panama. SULTAN STAR LEAVES PANAMA. The Sultan Star, en route to load Homeward in Now Zealand, is reported to have sailed from Panama. She is due at Wellington on December 10. PORT HOBART’S CHANGED PORTS. The Port Hobart, which is to leave Loudon on December 28 for New Zealand, will now make Auckland her first port of discharge. She will proceed thence to Wellington, New Plymouth, and Bluff. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Auckland is to sail from New York on January 30 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She will probably call at Kingston about February 3 to load oranges. TANKER SOUTH AFRICA COMING. The Texas Oil Company advises that the tanker South Africa is to leave Los Angeles to-day for New Zealand and Australian ports. She is due at Auckland about December 24, and will complete discharge of the dominion portion of her cargo at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.
PACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Southward.— Monterey left San Francisco on November 13 for Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva. She is due at Auckland on November 30, and Sydney on December 3. Niagara is to leave Vancouver on December 5 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu and Suva. She is due at Auckland on December 24, and at Sydney on December 28. Mariposa is to leave Los' Angeles on December 12 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva., She is due at Auckland on December 29, and at Sydney on January 1. Maunganui is to leave San Francisco on December 19 for Wellington and Sydney via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on January 7 and Sydney on January 12. Aorangi is to leave Vancouver on January 2 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu! and Suva. She is due at Auckland on January 21, and at Sydney on January 26. —Northward.— Niagara left Sydney on November 8 and Auckland on’ November 13 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Vancouver on November 30. Mariposa left Sydney on November 14 and Auckland on November 17 for San Francisco via Suva, Pago Pago, and Honolulu. She is due at San Francisco on December 3. Aorangi is to' leave Sydney on December 6 and Auckland on December 11 for Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Vancouver on December 28. Monterey is to leave Sydney on December 15 and Auckland on December 18 for Los Angeles via Pago Pago and 1 Honolulu. She is due at Los Angeles on December 31. Makura is to leave Sydney on December 20 and Wellington on December 24 for San Francisco via Rarotonga and' Papeete. She is due at San Francisco on January 11. IN RADIO RANGE.
