FINED £lO AND LICENSE CANCELLED [Per United Press Association.] TJMARU, November 27. A protracted inquiry into the death of Esther Josephine Rooney, who died as the result of injuries received when knocked down by a car driven by Preston George Stevens on November 14, was held to-day. Tho Coroner returned a verdict that death was duo to cerebral laceration, as the result of being struck by a motor truck driven by Stevens, who was later charged in the Magistrate's Court with being intoxicated while in charge of a motor vehicle. He was lined £lO and his license was cancelled, and he was prohibited from securing another one till November 27, 1935.
