A visit paid to several garages found much evidence of the proximity of the beach races. A piston here, and valve gear there, gave ample proof that motor cycle racing is by no means failing as one of the greatest sports of the day, and it is confidently expected that December 1 will produce the same keen competition and good sportsmanship that has always attended events organised by the local club.
