The Launceston welcome fo the Duke of Gloucester was on all fours with that of Hobart, a children’s demonstration being a feature, their drilling greatly impressing, the Royal visitor. His Royal Highness attended a civic reception, called at the Traveller’s Club, and then went to the city park for a public reception, where he received addresses from various organisations. The Duke to-night will attend a dance in his honour arranged, by the City Council.. To-morrow, he will visit Burnie.
