Hall, St. Kilda. to-morrow evening, in aid of the funds of the children’s Christ* mas cheer party. Mr D. E. Neilsoi* and his banjo band will contribute, assisted by several other well-known artists, -s On Monday evening, in the same hallj a varied programme by the Christmas Cheer Concert Party (organised by Messrs G. Hears and J,T. Ramsay) will present some twenty, items. , AMBASSADORS' DANCE So well supported were the last tw* Ambassadors’ dances that the commit* tee decided to, run a carnival night iig the South Dunedin Town Hall on Tuesday nest'. All ladies will receive *1 balloon for the ballroom dance, for which there, will be a special prize.. The lucky door, prizes will also be of value. There will be two Monte Carlos, : a confetti dance, for which all patron* will be supplied with a liberal supply of confetti, while 'the mistletoe dance should cause a great deal of amusement. Special prizes will be given for these novelties. Miss Joy Grey will' be seen in specialty novelty turns. Smith’s Jubilee Band will supply the music. Special stage and mechanical settings will be provided.
