THEFT CHARGES
BOROUGH CLERK AND RELIEF WORKER IN COURT [Per United Press Association,] WAIPUKURAU, November 16. Herbert Monteroy Tansley, towrt clerk, and Christian Mathieson Cronn, relief worker,, appeared in court this morning, jointly, charged with the theft of sums of money amounting to £lB 8a 9d, the property of the Waipukurau Borough Council. They were remanded to November 23 on bail. Other charges are pending.
