The Byrd expedition steamer Jacob Ruppert, having been cleaned and painted, came out of dry dock this morning and berthed at the George street wharf to takfe a run out of her engines. At the beginning of next week she will come to Dunedin to take in about 2,000 tons of oil fuel for the forthcoming Antarctic trip. The Bear of Oakland will probably return to Dunedin later next week. , TELEGRAPHIC ADVICE.
