CHILD SERIOUSLY INJURED. Serious injuries were received by Evelyn Hastie, aged five years, when she was knbeked down by a motor car on the Main road, near the Ravensboiirne railway station, yesterday alternoon. She was admitted to the hospital at 4.25, with concussion and a fracture of the right leg, and was placed on the dangerously ill list. There was no change in her condition this morning. Her parents reside at 239 Main road, Ravensbourne. INJURIES TO BACK. While working in the new tunnel under construction at Waipori, Jaines Paterson, aged thirty-two, received injuries to his back, necessitating his removal to hospital, where he was admitted at. 3.25 p.m. yesterday.
