AMATEUR CYCLING CENTRE
MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Otago Centre, N.Z.A.C.A., was attended by Mr J. Fletcher (chairman), Messrs C. Gilchrist, C. G. Lucas, W. Templeton, and F. Greenfield (proxy for Mr A. Ockwell). The Di'ummond Amateur Cycling Club wrote, applying for affiliation to the cycling centre, and also for licenses for seven members. —It was decided to grant affiliation to the Drummond Chib. The Invercargill Amateur Cycling Club wrote on behalf of the Southland A. and P. Association applying for permission to include cycle events at the Royal Show on December 11, 12, and 13 respectively.—ln granting permission to hold the cycling events the secretary was asked to point out that a permit was issued for one meeting only. An application was received from the Tokomairiro Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club for affiliation to the centre. — It. was decided to grant affiliation. "A letter from the Anglican Amateur and Athletic Club for permission to hold a cycle race at each of its scratch meetings was referred to the Dunedin Amateur Cycling Club. An application from the Alexandra Caledonian Society to include four cycle races on its programme for January 1 was granted.
