A scheme for the provision of two new reservoirs in the Thames Valley, each capable of holding 4,000,000,000 gallons of water, at an estimated total cost of £4,083,000, was to-day unanimously adopted at a meeting of the Metropolitan Water Board. Steps to obtain parliamentary sanction for the scheme will be undertaken in the coming session.
