NET REVENUE INCREASE IPer United Press Association.] WELLINGTON. October 6. The chairman of the Railways Roan! has announced the financial results of the working of the railways for the four-weekly period ended September 15. For the four weeks there was an increase in gross revenue of £33.684, and an increase in expenditure of £31,214, resulting in an increase in tho net revenue for the period of £2,470. For the portion of tiro financial year from April 1 to Septcniber |5 the gross revenue increased by £173.697. and the expenditure by £120,118. resulting m an increase in the net revenue for that portion of the financial year of £55,571), compared with the corresponding portion of the last financial year.
