Mrs Jenkins complained to the employer of two men of the strong language they had used when repairing a chimney'outside her house. The “ boss ’ passed the letter on to the foreman and asked him to send him in an explanation of the matter. The explanation ran: “Me and Bill Williams were on this job. 1 was up on the top of the chimney when 1 accidentally let a brick fall down on Bill’s head. ‘ Sorry, Bill,’ I said. ‘ You reallv must be a little more careful, Harry,’ he answered. ‘And that’s all the two of us said.’-.’
