FLYING BLIND
A FORCED LANDING [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, September 20. After flying blind for an hour over Auckland owing to the bad visibility tho Spartan biplane ZKABN, piloted hy K. Johnson, of Timaru, made a forced landing in a paddock at Papaloetoo at midday. The passenger, Gus Sonnenberg, the well-known wrestler, had chartered the plane from New Zealand Airways to fly to 'Palmerston North to engage in a match to-night. No damage was done to the plane. After refuelling the pilot resumed his flight, the weather having cleared slightly.
