CANADIAN DAIRY QUALITY

So satisfactory is the quality qf Canadian cheese in the United .Kingdom, states the Canadian Pacific Railway review, that no suggestions were offered by the largest importers on how further improvements could be made when Mr J. S. Singleton, Dairy Commissioner, Dominion Department of Agriculture, called on them a short time ago in London and Liverpool. The Commissioner recently attended the tenth World’s Dairy Congress, which was held in Rome, and returned to Ottawa via the British Isles in order to call on the principal buyers there of Canadian cheese and butter. Both these products are carefully graded before they are exported, and the grade marks are shown on the containers. He said that the standard of grading in Canada evidently meets adequately the exacting demands of the British consumer.
