COMMUNITY SING

Friday is the weekly sing day, and tins week’s will be held in the Town Hall, and will bo a combined one for adults and children. Monday’s sing was such a success that the committee felt it was only right that the children should have another opportunity to attend, and that is the reason for holding this week’s sing in the Town Hall. Portion of the downstairs will be reserved for adults, so that good seats will be available for the regular patrons who attend the sings. Big Brother Bill will again lead, and is promising some surprise items. Assisting Brother Bill will be the aunties and uncles from 4YA, also the Maori children from Puketeraki, in charge of Mrs B. Te Tan, sen. Mr All' Pettitt will be at the piano. Donations can be sent to Begg’s, Strand, or the Town Hall. The collection is for the mayor’s unemployment fund.
