ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
CHILD STRUCK; BY CAR. ■William John Alister M'Caw, aged three years and eight months, a son of Mr George K. M'Caw, of 125 Breezes road (Christchurch), was struck by a motor car at the corner of Breeze’s and Page’s roads yesterday afternoon. Ha died on the way to the hospital. The boy was running across the road when he was struck by the car. SLIPPED ON THE ICE. Frank Walts, 11 years of age, living at 70 Kaikorai Valley road, was admitted to the hospital at 7.30 p.m. yesterday with a cut over the-left eye and concussion. He was sliding on some ice on the Kaikorai Valley road when he fpll heavily, receiving the injuries mentioned.
