The Northern Ireland. has prohibited General O’Duffy from entering any part of Northern Ireland till further notice as the result of his proposal to. extend his operations to Ulster. j
STATEMENT BY. GENERAL O’DUFFY.
LONDON, August 27. (Received August 28, at 11.5 a.m.)
General O’Duffy commented; “ Evidently Lord Craigavon (Prime Minister) sees in the Blue Shirts a danger to the continuance of a partitioned Ireland. Many Northerners are convinced that our policy is the only hope of Irish unity.” (Received August 28, at 1.30 p.m.)
Mr Sean O’Kelly has been also banned from Ulster.
