Latham expresses sincere gratitude for the kindness and friendship with which the mission was greeted. “ Everything I have seen and heard leads me to_ believe that the mission has accomplished useful and, valuable work. I hope that .one result of my visit will be the dispelling of the idea that Australia is a country of vast resources which the Australians are not developing.
