CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE MOVEMENT MR GANDHI’S STATEMENT ENDORSED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CALCUTTA, May 19. The Indian Congress Committed, at a meeting in Patna, passed a resolution endorsing Mr Gandhi’s statement embodying a decision to reserve civil disobedience to himself, and withdrawing it froni others. An amendment urging total withdrawal of the disobedience movement was withdrawn.
