SOCCER CGUNGiL . EIGHTEEN CHATHAM CUP ENTRIES [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 16. A letter from Mr Druery, secretary of the Australian Football Association, ■was read at a meeting of the New Zealand Council last night. He said that there was no immediate prospect of a tour of Australia and New Zealand by an English and Scottish .Association side. This was indicated by Mr S. Stack, of New South Wales, who had just returned from a visit to England. Mr Dreury said efforts were being made to induce the Football Association to send a schoolboy team to Australia. If-such a tour eventuated, the Australian Association would endeavour to see New Zealand included in the itinerary. It was reported to the meeting that eighteen entries had been received for the Chatham Cup, against thirty-six last year. The entries are:—Northern and Maori Hill (of Otago), Glen Afton (Hamilton), Wanderers and Huntly United (of South Auckland), Hangers and All Blacks (of Buffer), Hospital (Petone), Marist and Waterside( of Wellington), Abels, Ponsonhy, Thistle, and Y.M.C.A. (of Auckland), Western. Thistle, and Technical Old Boys (of Canterbury),
