The latest report from Little America states that tho men worked all day under pale moonlight lowering the giant Condor into the sunken snow hangar. A ton-mile wind made the job difficult. Similar hangars will he prepared for the smaller planes. The Condor weighs about eight tons, including two tons of fuel. Easing it into the pit was exhaustive work. As one man said, it was like trying to drydock a whale. The barometer was falling on Tuesday, and a blizzard was expected.
