(Received April 30, at 11 a.m.) Hundreds of people vainly tried to avert the destruction of the centuriesold Church of Tarazon de la Manche, which was ignited by incendiaries after spraying the doors with petrol. The ancient organ, candelabra, and baroque altar were destroyed.
