MOUNT COOK WINTER SPORTS
The passing of autumn brings one comfort—the opportunity of cheap week-end trips to the Mt. Cook Hermitage. As the headquarters of the Dominion’s winter sport, which is gaining popularity from year to year, the Jit. Cook Hermitage attracts plenty of pleasure-seekers. Beginners at the fascinating sport of ski-ing on the lou<r white way have beeu pleasantly surprised by their quick mastery of the art under the coaching ot the Hermitage experts. Within an hour the novice gains his first control ot ski. From then on the progess is rapid, it is a swift change from the first stumble on the snowy cushion to complete command of the enchanted shoes.
