No news will be more pleasing to picture fans than to learn of Charles Farrell’s return to Fox and his reunion with his little screen sweetheart, Janet Gaynor. For twelve months this popular couple have been divorced from each other in talkies. Janet has been wooed and won by Lew Ayres, Warner Baxter, and Robert Young. Charlie has made love to Wynne Gibson, Betty Furness, Marguerite Churchill, and Betto Davis. Now Farrell is back; back with Janet Gaynor again. Of course there were no personal feelings behind their separation in the first place, but now they are to again co-star on the screen they are extremely happy. “We h ; iva made many pictures together without any discord or lack of understanding between us,” says Janet. “The pub* lie has demanded to see ug together again, and I am sure I sha.x enjoy associations as much as they.” ‘‘A. year ago I was utterly miserable ” adds Charlie. “Sis months ago I was weighed down by an inferiority complex as big as a house. To-day I am so ambitious I can hardly sit still. I’ll frankly say that I’m just as glad to go back and do pictures with Janet as I was to , stop making , them fifteen months ago.”- ••• • •.
