With hilarious unanimity the jury found the prisoner guilty of burglary, and the usual question was put to him as to whether he had anything to say why sentence should not be passed. “I have!” he puffed in loud indignation. “ I object to bein’ identified by a bloke who had his head under the bedclothes all the time I was in the room.”
