FOUR SEASONS IN ONE DAY A visitor who arrived in Christchurch from Lewis Pass complained of having four seasons in the one day. it was snowing when his party left in the morning, was warm and sunny when they passed through Hanmer, while a hot scorching nor’-wester was encountered later in the day.
