The airman Lapklevsky rescued ten women and two children who were marooned on an icefloe after the wreck of the Cheluskin oa February 14. There are still over eighty of the crew left on the floe. Aeroplanes and steamers rescued practically all of the 400 fishermen who wore marooned on the icefloes in the Caspian Sea, including three who had been afloat for a mouth. Eighty-four are still stranded, but it is expected that they will be rescued in a few days.
