VOICE PRODUCTION

(Received February 27, at 10 a.m.) For the purpose of studying voice production and curing dumbness, Sir Richard Paget, has designed an apparatus to simulate tbo human voice, in which an organ reed is substituted for tire larynx. Sir Richard Paget says he has studied in the course of his experiments the language of gestures, which are the same all over the world, whether on the part of Red Indians or Australian aborigines. They arc the natural language of man.
