AUSTRALIAN EXPORT FIGURES The export of canned apricots, poaches, and pears from Australia for the year ended December 31 last amounted to the equivalent of 1,463,055 dozen 30oz tins, as compared with 1,297,042 dozen for the preceding year. According to the Department of Commerce, shipments comprised 250,391 dozen, apricots, 690,533 dozen peaches, and 510,330 dozen pears. The destinations were : —United Kingdom, 1,331,822 dozen; the East, 43,920 dozen; Canada, 35,622 dozen; and New Zealand, 45,150 dozen.
