NEW APPARATUS DEMONSTRATION IN LONDON Press Association—By Telegraph —Copyright, LONDON, February 8. (Received February 9, at 9 a.m.) The ‘ Daily Express ’ says that the Institute of Electrical Engineers, in the presence of scientists and wireless experts, demonstrated a complete televised programme from a talkie film. lt_ is believed that when the mass production stage lias been reached the apparatus will be no dearer than a high-class gramophone, giving in people’s homes televised broadcasts of talkies, cricket, football, lawn tennis, racing, and social events.
