INSTRUCTIONS TO ENGINEER The Works Committee will report to the City Council on Wednesday night that the city engineer has been instructed as follows: (a) To act with respect to the matter of constructing k. and g. and tarred macadam footpath in Watts road. Estimated cost £66. (This work is not to be put in hand until nest financial year.) (b) To record the following matters for consideration with next year’s allocations : (1) Regrading the lower _ end of Coirey Hill road and widening its intersection with Allandaie road. Estimated cost to the council, providing for relief labour, £3Ol. (2) Constructing k. and g. and laying tarred macadam footway on the west side of portion of Laing street. Estimated cost £l2. (3) .Tar-seallng the eastern side, of portion of Cargill road.
